Mavio Labs

About this demo site

Thrayne is not a real company. Everything on this site was invented to give a change detection service something realistic to watch.

What this site is

This is the public test fixture for Mavio Test, a service built by Mavio Labs that watches websites and reports what changed between two points in time — copy edits, layout shifts, images that were swapped, pages that appeared or quietly disappeared.

Testing that kind of tool needs a site whose changes are known in advance. So we built one. Each version of this site is a git branch carrying a deliberate, recorded set of differences from the last, and a run is correct only when the tool reports exactly those differences — no misses, and no findings we did not plant.

Why it looks like a real product

A page of placeholder boxes would not exercise anything. Real marketing sites have mega menus, responsive image sets, embedded video, documentation, pricing tables, dense legal prose and a changelog that shifts under you — and each of those breaks change detection in its own way. The only way to find those failure modes is to build the real thing, so that is what this is: a complete, working, deliberately ordinary SaaS marketing site.

It is also shown to customers, which is the other reason it is built to a real standard rather than thrown together.

What is invented

All of it. The name Thrayne, the product, the team and their photographs, the customers and their case studies, the prices, the uptime figures, the funding, the office address, the phone number and every email address on the site are fictional. Nothing here is an offer, a claim, or a description of any real service. The one exception is this page and the links it makes to Mavio Labs.

Any resemblance to a real company is unintended. The name was checked against domain registrations and company registers before it was used; if you hold a claim to it, please get in touch and we will rename the fixture.

Things that are deliberately wrong

Some of what you may notice is not an oversight. This site intentionally carries a broken internal link, pages excluded from the sitemap, pages blocked in robots.txt, unusual link protocols, a wide range of downloadable file formats and several regions that change on their own. They are all here to be found.
